Relationship with Shopify

The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal data about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve them. Information you submit may be transmitted to and shared with Shopify, including infrastructure located outside India, solely to provide the Services to you. To learn more about how Shopify processes personal data, you may review the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.

Third-Party Websites and Links

The Services may contain links to websites operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of any third-party website, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before sharing any personal data with them.

Children’s Data

The Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian, in accordance with the DPDPA. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data without your consent, please contact us using the details below so we can delete it.

Security and Retention of Your Data

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We recommend avoiding unsecured channels when sharing sensitive information with us.

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations (including under tax and consumer protection law), resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.

Your Rights

Under the DPDPA, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right to Access. You may request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is being processed.

  • Right to Withdraw Consent. Where we rely on your consent to process your personal data, such as for marketing communications, you may withdraw that consent at any time. You can opt out of promotional emails using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by contacting us directly. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal, and we may still send you essential non-promotional communications, such as order and account updates.
  • Right to Grievance Redressal. You have the right to have any grievance regarding your personal data resolved in a timely manner, as described in the “Grievance Redressal” section below.
  • Right to Nominate. You have the right to nominate another individual to exercise your rights under the DPDPA on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity, by contacting us using the details below.

You may exercise these rights by contacting us using the details in the “Contact” section. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request, and we will respond within the timeframe required under applicable law.

Grievance Redressal

If you have any grievance regarding how we process your personal data, you may contact our Grievance Officer at krutiv@zohomail.in, marking the subject line “Data Privacy Grievance.” We will acknowledge your grievance within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may escalate your complaint to the Data Protection Board of India, established under the DPDPA, 2023.

Cross-Border Data Transfers

Your personal data may be processed or stored on servers located outside India, including through Shopify’s global infrastructure.
